Deze Tefifon is redelijk zeldzaam en is in goede conditie. De Tefifon die bovenop is gemonteerd, speelt eindloze plastic geluidsbanden af.

Produktiejaar vanaf 1957.

Meeverkocht  worden 10 geluidsbanden met "rode"  band, waarvan 8 normaal en 2 x groot formaat. 

Draait,  moet aangesloten worden op een luidspreker. Werking verder onbekend, komt uit nalatenschap.

Totaalgewicht 6,3 kilo.

De Tefifon geluidsband en de Tefifon cassette zijn door Dr. Karl Daniel ontwikkeld en op de Rundfunkaus-stellung van 1936 in Berlijn voor het eerst getoond. De in dat jaar opgerichte firma Tefi-Apparatebau-Dr. Karl Daniel K.G. in Porz (bij Keulen) verwierf tussen 1937 en 1955 op het gebied van de Tefifon-techniek 75 patenten.

Het Tefi merk had tot het begin van de jaren '60 enig marktaandeel, zelfs wereldwijd. In de 25 jaar van haar bestaan werd een grote varieteit aan Tefi apparatuur gebouwd, van koffer Tefifon's voor muziek bij de pic-nic tot en met complete muziekmeubels. De Tefi apparaten werden alleen verkocht door fabrieksgebonden bedrijven, in de vrije handel waren ze niet verkrijgbaar. Tefi stopte in 1962 met de produktie en werd in 1965 geliquideerd.
