Dominguez - Globe Photos - Chuck Norris and his wife Dianne Holechek

DESCRIPTION Genre: ORIGINAL PHOTO Date of Image: 1980's Date of Issue: 1980's Subject: CHUCK NORRIS Issuer: The Cinema Screen collection Size: 20 x 25 cm. Comments: A Vintage 1980's Original Photograph featuring martial artist Chuck Norris and his wife Dianne Holechek. Norris began his rise to fame as a martial artist. At a martial arts demonstration in Long Beach, Norris met the martial artist Bruce Lee. In 1972, he acted as Lee's nemesis in the movie Way of the Dragon (titled Return of the Dragon in its U.S. distribution), which launched him toward stardom. The Norris legend grew from Code of Silence, The Delta Force, Firewalker to Walker, Texas Ranger and the Total Gym. In late 2005, Norris became the object of an ironic internet meme known as "Chuck Norris Facts", which document fictional, often absurdly heroic feats and characteristics about Norris. Norris has written his own response to the parody on his website, stating that he does not feel offended by them and finds some of them funny. His personal favorite is that "they wanted to add his face to Mount Rushmore, but the granite is not hard enough for his beard".
