Poch is een kaartspel om geld, dat vanaf de zestiende eeuw in Europa gespeeld werd.
De naam van het spel komt van het Duitse Pochen; kloppen. In bepaalde situaties wordt bij het kaarten op de tafel geklopt, als signaal voor de medespelers.

Dit speelbord stamt uit de 2e helft van de 19e eeuw, zo rond 1890
Het is gemaakt uit lindehout, heeft een doorsnede van 31 cm. en is 2,5cm. dik, zwart gelakt en er zijn acht koperen schaaltjes in bevestigd. Hierin deponeren de spelers hun inzet. Boven ieder schaaltje is een papieren  minispeelkaart gelijmd.
Het middelste, negende schaaltje bevat de bank.

Aan de rand van het bord zijn wat kleine beschadigingen, en bij een van de speelkaartjes mist een stukje. De koperen schaaltjes hebben een mooi patina.
Oude en antieke pochborden komen sporadisch voor
