Mayan chessboard cut from volcanic rock and resin. Completely handmade. The board contains the Mayan calendar which is completely depicted around the board. It also has two drawers to store the pieces in on both sides. The chess set measures 48 x 48 x 18 and weighs +/- 8 kg. The chess pieces are between 14 cm and 7 cm tall. The pieces represent the Aztec Mayans and the Conquistador. The chess plateau at the top is lightly deformed, but according to my information this is normal due to the fact that the chessboard stones are baked at the top. One pawn is also lightly damaged.
