Nice Schatz annual clock from August 1953. Made of shiny copper with a gold plated look. (Does not need to be polished). These types of special movements are usually placed under a glass bell jar. This model has a sturdy copper casing with facet cut windows, so that the clock and the special movement are visible. The 4 counter weights at the bottom, rotate back and forth slowly, and ensure that the clock, runs for more than a year, or 400 days, once it has been wound with a key The case is firmly attached with 2 special slides at the bottom. When these are turned up, the complete casing can be lifted off, by using the handle at the top. The movement runs well. It is a precise movement, which needs to be placed absolutely level on a flat surface, to ensure the movement runs without interruptions. Clock has been serviced by a clock maker. The spring is wound completely. Does not come with the key, but this can be bought separately.
