Wonderful SARANGI string instrument from India. The Sarangi is characteristic for the classical Indian music. It is often played in a squatting position.
It can be considered much like a complex violin. The four main strings are played with a bow, through which the underlying strings simultaneously resonate.
The instrument is made of wood and is beautifully decorated with lovely paintings. 
Condition: Good condition. Only a string is missing and the bow is frayed... please take a good look at the pictures.
The instrument is not tuned....
