The Golden Earrings - "Lonely Everyday/Not To Find"
Lonely Everyday by the Golden Earrings should have been the successor of their magnificent 1965 debut Please Go. However, too late it was discovered that the English used in the songs on the B side, Not to Find, was a far cry from being grammatically correct; the first editions had already been shipped to record stores in The Hague.
Most of these records have been hastily retrieved to curb the damage to the band's reputation, and it is rumoured by now only some 25 records have escaped this fate. Some of these have been well-preserved, by the band itself or friends and family. This is such a record; it appears to have hardly been played at all! The labels are clean, unwritten and in an overall excellent condition.
The sleeve is in equally good condition, with only some tiny folds and slight smudges along the fragile gold-coloured section.
A crown jewel and excellent investment. The pictures provide a good impression.
