One Christmas a long ago, a young Guido received a very special gift – a 2923 Märklin H0 DB starter set – that would set in motion a lifelong passion for the world in miniature. For over 50 years, Guido has been collecting, dismantling, repairing and rebuilding model trains. Guido’s precise and methodical nature led him to becoming a keen-eyed model train technician, work which helped deepen his knowledge and ability to identify the small differences that make each model unique. Guido joined the Catawiki team in March 2021, bringing with him a broad knowledge of most model brands and a specialist knowledge of Märklin models in H0 scale.
