Emmanuelle’s passion for fashion began at an early age, sparked by the colourful historical costumes she’d see in movies and museums. Often found hunting around wardrobes and attics in search of vintage treasures, Emmanuelle found no greater joy than finding various fabrics and custom jewellery pieces that happened to spark her creativity. Inspired by her love for all things beautiful, Emmanuelle combined her passion for Art History with her studies in Business Management. After moving to Paris, Emmanuelle also successfully completed internships at several auction houses in Drouot. There she fell in love with high-end jewellery and luxury fashion, particularly wearable items that ignited her playful imagination. After gaining experience connecting clients with beautiful fashion treasures at auctions, Emmanuelle started working in the jewellery department at the prestigious auction house, Christie’s. Her most special memory from her time at Christie’s was the successful sale of an exceptional Art Deco necklace by Jean Fouquet, sold for almost €1 million. As an expert for Catawiki, her keen eye for quality and experience with anticipating what clients want enable her to curate beautiful collections to catch the eye of any fashion and jewellery lover.
