Touching upon the sensibility of an artist and sharing it with others is my greatest passion.
Coming from a family of art dealers, Caroline grew up surrounded by the beauty of artworks and the stories they tell. Initially gaining a degree in International Business followed by a Master’s in Art History, Caroline quickly followed in the footsteps of her family with a wealth of experience within the art scene before joining Catawiki as an expert. Caroline worked for an international auction house and then as an art gallery director – buying and selling 19th–20th century artworks while participating in international art fairs such as the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris, BRAFA and the International Antiques Fair in Hong Kong. Motivated by her love of the art market and desire to support the industry, Caroline also founded her own company helping to promote the works of young, up-and-coming artists in galleries and at art fairs. With her entrepreneurial spirit and diverse industry experience, Caroline shares her lifelong love of art with a global network of buyers and sellers on Catawiki.
