In 1993 Peter got involved with Modellplan, a company that works closely with Märklin to create track plans for model railroads, allowing Peter full access to the factory of the legendary company. He helped create a database for all Märklin trains since 1993 and worked on all versions of the track planning software. All the while expanding his collection of replica trains from Märklin and miniature Italian models reminiscent of his hometown.
