Natasha Mulder-Blom comes from a family of gemstone aficionados. Her grandfather worked in gold mines, spending his days searching for the precious metal. Inspired by him, Natasha scoured the Australian landscape in search of gemstones — and she found them! This adventure kick-started her collection, and since then she’s on a mission to learn everything about gemstones of all types, sizes and origins. Besides her travels, Natasha regularly made her own jewellery. She put this accumulated knowledge into practice when she began working at a jewellers in the Netherlands. There, she learned about all aspects of the trade, and the jewellery market in general. This multifaceted knowledge is key to her role as Expert at Catawiki, where she supports both buyers and sellers with insightful analysis of the quality and value of each precious object.
