Jacopo earned a Masters in archaeology, writing his dissertation on numismatics, before also completing a PhD on the metal analysis of Celtic coinage at the University of Torino, Italy. Jacopo loves sharing his expertise and knowledge with the world and has published a number of well-received articles on numismatics for scientific journals. Personally, Jacopo enjoys collecting and studying Greek, Roman and coins from ancient Italian states but since joining Catawiki in 2016, he has also become quite the specialist in one of the world’s most modern coins, the Euro.
