Daniel discovered his fascination for fine wines while traveling through the vineyards of France, Italy and Spain, and knew he’d found his life’s calling. He made it official by completing his degree in Wine Business Studies and Vinification. Degree in hand, Daniel has pursued his passion for the last 15 years, working in wineries in some of the most famous wine-producing regions. He has also worked for a number of online retailers, and for one the leading international wine publications organising tastings around the world. Daniel joined Catawiki in 2016 and heads up our team of wine and whiskey experts. He loves the camaraderie and the passion people have for their specialities. Daniel’s own speciality is champagne and exclusive wines, and he is totally dedicated to selecting the only finest wines for auction every week.
