Yvonne was working as a student at Sotheby’s when she learned about the extensive and unexplored archive of Bonebakker, the oldest jeweller in the Netherlands and a household name for antique silver. She decided to make the Amsterdam-based jeweller the subject of her thesis.
When she completed her studies, Yvonne went on to work at Bonebakker. There she honed her knowledge with the practical experience she gained from working with a wide range of jewellery – from modern to antique.
