Patricia had a fondness for gemstones as a child, but it wasn’t until her college years that her passion for jewellery materialised. In need of a side job, she found a gig at a local jewellery brand from Brazil, where she lived at the time. Loving every minute of it, she knew she had found her virtue. When life took her to Germany, she learned the language as fast as she could to continue her diamond-covered path. Over the past 15 years, Patricia has worked with countless independent designers as well as big names such as Bvlgari, Tiffany and Salvatore Ferragamo, to name a few. With roles shifting from sales assistant to diamond auditor to jewellery supervisor and beyond, Patricia’s multifaceted knowledge is a unique combination of commercial awareness and detailed product insight. She is an Accredited Jewellery Professional (GIA) and Gemologist (DGemG). Patricia first joined Catawiki in 2016. After a four-year intermezzo in Asia, we’re happy to have her back once again in our Modern Jewellery category, where she curates exciting auctions and uses her passion and knowledge to guide buyers and sellers through the sparkling world of jewels.
