Although he never thought of being an expert, when Catawiki contacted him, Ard could not refuse the proposal. Now, he contributes in many ways to the growth of his street art auctions. According to Ard, ‘working as an expert at Catawiki is not only about looking at art all day, but about being in contact with sellers and advising buyers’. Ard really likes to give continuous feedback to sellers, either painters who are making their first steps in the art world, or to those who are already well-known artists; he also always provides buyers with information about street art they should invest in. By doing all this, his auctions contain very varied objects, where originality prevails.
