In the mobility category, it's entirely possible to make an arrangement to visit the seller and view the vehicle whilst the auction is running and before placing a bid. In fact, both Catawiki and sellers encourage this, so it can foster more trust and transparency between buyer and seller.
There are some criteria that need to be met in order for a buyer to view a vehicle:
- The prospective bidder must have a Catawiki account
- The account must be fully verified and allowed to bid.
- There is at least 48 hours left on the auction.
Providing all of the above criteria are met, you may request a viewing of the vehicle. Once we receive your request, we will provide you with the sellers contact information, and inform them to expect a communication from yourself.
It's also important to note that should you view the vehicle, place a bid and go on to win the auction, the right to withdraw from the sale as per instructions in this article no longer apply.
