In the event that the vehicle is unsatisfactory, you must ensure that you contact us in 3 days upon receiving it, including the delivery day, so that we can open a claim. You can do this via the contact button at the bottom of this article. It's important that you do so as quickly as possible, as some aspects of a case can be time sensitive, and all claims ensure that payments are held securely until such a time as the claim can be resolved.
Once we have been informed, you will receive further instructions from our support teams. It's extremely important that whilst the vehicle is in your possession, you are responsible to ensure that it's kept in good condition as the claim is ongoing. In addition to this, please do not modify or change anything with the vehicle, unless it's approved by Catawiki & the seller.
As with all claims handled with Catawiki, we strongly urge that you contact the seller as soon as possible, preferably immediately after submitting your request to our support teams. We encourage a dialogue between both parties to reach a mutually beneficial resolution, and on that note, we kindly request that communication remain civil.
If there are any issues that may have been a result of the transportation of the vehicle, it's also important that you contact the courier service used, and report the damages. For your information, shipping companies usually require claims to be made in 7 days after the package was delivered. In addition to this, if you have paid for the shipment for the vehicle outside of your payment to Catawiki, you would need to resolve this with the courier or seller directly. For any specific instructions on how to file a claim, please contact your shipping company.
