How to verify your identity with Secure Code?

Why am I being asked to verify my identity?

To better protect your account and our platform, we’ve added an extra layer of security, also known as multi-factor authentication. In certain situations, you’ll be asked to verify your identity using a Secure Code. This code ensures that only you can access your account and make changes.

What is a Secure Code?

A Secure Code is a special code sent to your email or phone to confirm it’s really you. You’ll need to enter this code along with your password to access or update your account.

When will I need to use a Secure Code?

You’ll need Secure Code in these situations:

1. Sellers: when you change your payment details, email address, or phone number.

2. Inactive accounts: if you haven’t signed in for over a year and try to update your shipping address, billing address, email, or phone number.

How does it work?

You will have to enter a special code that we send to your email or phone. Simply:

1. Check your email or phone for the Secure Code.

2. Enter the code on the pop-up page to verify your identity.

I didn’t receive the Secure Code. What should I do?

1. Check your email’s spam/junk folder.

2. Make sure your phone has reception and can receive SMS.

3. Resend the code by clicking the "Try again" button.

What if I can’t complete the verification?

If you’re having trouble entering the Secure Code or updating your information, please make sure you’re using the latest version of our mobile application. If the issue persists, contact our support team for assistance. They will help guide you through the process.
