For certain objects that don’t reach their reserve price during auction, you have the opportunity to offer them to the highest bidders if the highest bid is around 30% below your reserve price. This means you can still sell your object even if the reserve price wasn’t met.
If this applies to one of your objects, you'll get an email asking if you want to make an offer to the highest bidders. If you agree, the highest bidders will get an email letting them know that you’re offering to sell the object for the highest bid amount. If a buyer accepts your offer, they’ll need to pay immediately for us to consider it accepted and sold.
If you decide to offer your object to the highest bidders, keep in mind that it’s time sensitive, and you only have 2 working days to complete the process. The highest bidders get 48 hours each to accept and pay for the object. Once one of them does, you will be notified via email and asked to ship the object within 3 working days.
