Catawiki welcomes Laith Khatib as new Chief Marketing Officer

Catawiki, Europe’s leading online marketplace for special objects, has appointed Laith Khatib as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to spearhead its next phase of global growth. In 2024, the platform passed the 5 million unique users mark, with users growing double digits. Together with Laith, Catawiki has the ambition to grow the platform even more by reaching new buyers and sellers around the globe.


With over 20 years of experience in the digital marketing space, Khatib has held leadership roles across various industries, driving exponential growth at both early-stage scale-ups as well as internationally renowned multinationals. In his most recent role as CMO at Exoticca, Khatib successfully navigated the travel industry through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, achieving a fivefold increase in business value over three years.
