Being a Professional Seller on Catawiki
A professional seller might be someone who already owns a business or runs a trade and would like to use Catawiki’s auctions to reach a wider audience online. For example, if you own a jewellery store or an art gallery and would like to conduct your business via Catawiki, you could become a professional seller. To register as a professional seller, you need to provide us with your VAT identification number or if you do not have this number, proof that you own a professional business and therefore wish to use Catawiki in a professional capacity. 'Mega Guld' is a father-and-son run jewellery store in Sweden. They’ve been manufacturing and selling their jewellery for 47 years, but started selling online in order to make the most of the worldwide audience Catawiki has to offer. ‘For us, the internet has opened up new doors where we can get in touch with so many potential new customers,’ they say.
