An inspirational new way to find your favourite gems – including ones you might have missed – you can start browsing through your personal recommendations directly from the homepage.
Want to stay posted when a specific seller has new special objects in auction? You now have the option to follow a seller directly from the Object Detail Page. The seller will then be added to your My Favourites page. Clicking the seller’s username will also allow you to explore their entire selection in auction, helping you to find new treasures within your interests.
When searching for objects, you can now get a clearer overview of the search filters you’re using – they’ve been giving more visibility on the search results and category pages, making it easier for you to add, remove and/or change filters when you’re on the hunt for your next treasure.
Prefer to bid on special objects sold from within your region? You can now filter by seller location when searching – particularly useful if you’re looking for faster and more affordable shipping options.
If you’re curious to know what’s selling in your country this week, you can also browse local collections.
Whether you’re a LEGO fan or an avid collector of Rolex watches, you can now explore objects from iconic brands directly from the homepage. Featuring creators and brands that are most in-demand among the Catawiki community, enjoy a new way to stay on top of what’s trending.
When using the Catawiki app on iOS 16 or higher, the recently introduced Live Activities Widget allows you to easily view the status on objects you’ve bid on/favourited directly from the lock screen. If you’ve been outbid, you can save time by placing another bid on the widget in less than 3 clicks. The widget can be enabled after confirming a bidding on your phone and going through the necessary steps.
