A long, 17 volume, foldable lithograph depicting a procession of Delft students on 5 may 1857. The procession is divided into two main groups: 1. The Garebeg procession of the sultan of Yogyakarta. 2. The most characteristic types of van Dutch East India Archipelago. There were 87 people.
Our copy is not complete. Of the 17 lithographs there are 14 more in the book, eight lithographs are in good condition, five lithograph are lightly restored and one lithograph has been heavily restored. The photos provide more details. The missing lithographs are litho 5, 6 and 7. Images of these three missing lithographs can be shared via email, so that the procession can still be displayed as a complete version.
Also a copy in this condition is rare and very interesting for collectors of Dutch Indian historical material.
