A rare beautiful Art Deco Chevrolet hood ornament / auto mascot Flying Eagle 
This original ART DECO Chevy hood ornament from the period of +/-1935 is manufactured of chrome-plated cast zinc. 
The Flying Eagle is designed by William Schnell and Eric S Carlson, 2 January 1934. 
This hood ornament has the following design patent number T-91300 29702. 
The hood ornament is screwed on a marble base. 

The ornament is in a good condition and shows very little "pitting". 

Sizes including marble base: 16 cm high and 10 cm length. 
Weight: 1500 grams
