In the early 1960s one could save at Nutricia for special coffee and breakfast tableware pieces, with depictions of canal houses and famous buildings. The black and white drawings of the Amsterdam city views were made by the painter and graphic artist H.E. Roodenburg, one of the best known etchers of the 20th century. The tableware itself was largely made by the famous porcelain and earthenware factory Villeroy & Boch.
