Mechanical Valjoux 7733 chronograph movement – 18 karat gold case with a leather strap
Beautiful Gigandet Chronograph watch from the 1960s.
A watch by the Gigandet brand, which has been increasing in value lately, because it was part of the Wakmann Breitling group at the time.
The 18 kt gold case has a diameter of 37 mm, which means it has a nice size, and is certainly no too small like chronograph watches from the 1940s-1950s.
The watch features a Valjoux 7733 movement It runs excellently. The chronograph starts and resets perfectly. Unknown when it was last serviced.
This is a used watch, so take a good look at the photos. The watch is in good condition.
The gold plating of the pushers and crown is worn. The glass is scratch free. The gold case shows signs of wear. No scratches but a small dent in some places. The strap has been replaced, it can be used for wrists up to approx. 18.5 cm in circumference.
