World Cup 2006. Final Italy - France. This was the very last match for Zinedine Zidane. He’s keen to get the world title, but things don’t go as he would have liked. Suddenly he gives a head butt to Materazzi who notoriously goes down. Zidane gets a red card ruling him out of the world champion title. Everyone will remember this piece of WORLD CUP history of now 8 years ago.
This lot is a fully in a massive acrylic molded piece of turf grass on which the final of the 2006 World Cup was played in the Olympic Stadium of Berlin, where above tragedy took place. The acrylic block measures 14x8x5 cm and is almost 800 grams in weight! Included with this lot is an official certificate of authenticity, with indicated in what sector this grass was located and with the own personal limited number. At the time in 2006 this turf was completely sold out in 24 hours. This item is still in the original packaging and so it’s brand new. Good luck bidding!
