A rare beautiful Art Deco Chevrolet hood ornament / car mascot. 
This original ART DECO Chevy hood ornament from the period of +/-1932 is manufactured in chrome-plated cast zinc. 
Who the designer of this "Diving Eagle" is, I unfortunately can't figure out. 
The hood ornament is screwed on a marble base. 

The ornament - now 85 years old - is in a good condition but shows some "pitting". 

Sizes including marble base: 10.5 cm high, 17.5 cm long and width 12 cm. 
Weight: 1100 grams
