Panini - Mexico 70 - Complete album including 2 original Pelé signatures + Photo of the signing moment.
This is the very rare 1st World Cup album that was issued by Panini in 1970. This is the international (= most popular) version.
The album is complete with a total of 271 cards, which were sold per two pieces in the corresponding packs at the time. You had to glue the cards in the album yourself back then.
After almost half a century this album is still almost in new condition! It has no writing and all the cards are neatly stuck. What makes this album even more unique are the two original Pelé signatures, who played his 4th(!) World Cup in 1970, winning his third World Cup with Brazil.
On the cover, next to his signature, Pelé wrote the initials of the owner and the text "best wishes" and next to the Pelé card he left his signature as well as the initials of the owner again and the text “good luck”. A photo is included of the moment that Pelé has ‘just’ signed this album!
The combination of the rarity of the Mexico 70 album, the beautiful condition of the album and the two original Pelé signatures make this a unique and extremely valuable item, which will, without a doubt, only increase in value over time...
