Superb and rare 14K 585 fountain pen from the German manufacturers Montblanc dating from the early 1950’s. Model 142 G made of black coloured celluloid with 23 carat gold plated detailing Solid 14K bicoloured gold plated plume in medium M writing size. The brand’s star is present on the top of the cap in mother-of-pearl. Length when cap screwed shut= 12.50 cm The fountain pen has some traces of use given its age, the piston works but should be restored since from time to time it seems a little weak.
