Very decorative safe from the Carl Kästner company in Leipzig, founded 1846 As you can see on the company label, the manufacturer received countless prizes and designations for its high quality safes.
This piece was extensively restored by a specialist four years ago. The original wood grain is artistic, has been very realistically painted and is made of walnut.
