Ancient Egyptian Scarab from Thebes from the time of Thutmose III c1400/1450 BC which has been set into a silver oval ring setting. The Scarab is in perfect condition, the setting has some damage as depicted and requires minor repair to the setting, or for the Scarab to be removed entirely. The ring belonged to my great-grandmother who had it made when she lawfully purchased three scarabs in the 1920's. The other two are set in a bracelet which is also up for auction.
