Woman in bronze representing Sappho, poet from the ancient Greece, sitting behind her lyre and with her writing case in front of her. The sculpture is signed on the bronze "J. Pradier (with the Greek ' E') and mark of the Susses brothers foundry." Rests on a beautiful octagonal marble base. All is in perfect condition without lack or break. Dimensions: Statue 30 X 14cm height 23 cm. Base 30 X 20 cm height 2 cm. The sculpture weighs 3, 4 kg alone. The set with marble base weighs 6, 2 kg.
