King stands 18cm tall and weighs 250gr. Queen 16,5cm, Bishop 13cm, Knight 9,5cm, Rook 11,5cm and Pawn 8,5cm. The chess pieces come in a wooden box, the inside of which is lined with Chinese silk. The game was acquired in the early 70s in Hong Kong. The box measures H13cm, W33cm, L63cm and weighs with the set inside 8,4kg. A CITES document, issued in Germany, is available. NB: A rosewood chess-table was specially hand-crafted for this game, but is not part of this auction. It can be made available if interest exists.
