In 1992, the Jaguar V12 is proposed on the XJ40 which then becomes XJ81. This V12 is entirely updated in its design, the engine becomes a 6 litres, and  is coupled to a new automatic transmission with 4-speed.  It is, in this form, the last evolution of the Jaguar V12, which is no longer produced since 1997. 
The Daimler represented the luxurious finishing of the model with all the attributes which make the charm of the beautiful British cars with leather, noble woods and thick carpet. It is also one of the rarest model with only 985 Daimler produced on a total of 3933 XJ81.

This vehicle has a standard French registration and a recent CT which is valid until 2019. It is a third hand, which has a full history showing almost 7,000 Euro  recently invested at a recognized Jaguar specialist. Model from 1994 with 141.000 km. The vehicle has a beautiful recent paint in the classic British racing green with a superb interior in cream leather with precious wood. 

The vehicle got a complete overhaul and is working exemplary. 
Many recent costs on invoices at a specialist show: 
geometry of the front suspension, new shocks, new brakes (discs & pads),  new lambda sensor + pressure control, 
two gasoline pumps and new filters, spark plugs + wires + new igniter finger, new battery. 

The body is in very good condition with no rust and the vehicle enjoys a superb recent paint. The Daimler rims are in very good condition and are fitted with new rear tyres. The interior is superb with a preserved upholstery in perfect condition, as well as the headliner, the thick carpets and the luxurious wood finishing, that participate to the charm of this English car. The vehicle has been restored and the air conditioning has been recently refilled with R134, so it's ready for the summer! The sale includes the complete history, service book, documents and two keys. 

The vehicle can be viewed and picked up on the Côte d'Azur in France near Saint Tropez.
