The first 10 issues of the first year of Donald Duck magazine in the Netherlands. October 1952. Subject: The first issue contains a long story about Donald Duck as a fireman. The story is a translation of “Absent-minded fireman”, illustrated by Carl Barks and originally published in Walt Disney Comics & Stories (USA) in November 1947. One page has been removed from the story due to lack of space. The story of Donald Duck as fireman is alternated with a comic in black and white about Kleine Boze Wolf, a translation of “Li’l Bad Wolf”, originally published in Walt Disney Comics & Stories (USA) in April 1947. In addition, this first issue contains a contest to win one of thousand Kienzle wrist watches. (Source: De Koninklijke Bibliotheek). Condition: Very good. Minute tear in No. 1 in the bottom left.
