A beautiful hand sewing machine by "Singer". The machine was produced in Dresden Germany, by Seigel & Naumann. The accompanying text reads "Verbesserte Singer Nahmachine". The production number is K 1334278. The machine (judging by the production number) was made before 1873. The machine is black-lacquered and very beautifully decorated with gold-coloured edges and red-green-beige-gold coloured flowers as well as an attractive factory logo. There is also a beautiful closed storage compartment. There is also a beautifully inlaid measuring scale. Over the years, the lid has been lost and are there some rust spots.
