Original designer lamp 'ARA' by Philippe Starck, the cornucopia of the light was designed 1988 for the company Flos. The table lamp ARA represents the cornucopia shape usually used by Philippe Starck in his works.
With its conical progressive shape the 'ARA' has the effect like a silvery cornucopia from which the light is pured on the surrounding surface. The table lamp gives a direct focused light. The hard body is chromium plated. The chrome plated cast iron base with a lead weight gives safety.
The switch is the light head itself: The lamp is turned on and off with a tilting movement from up down.
