This beautiful chess set depicts a historical battle between England and Napoleon’s France. The chess pieces are quite heavy and large, the material is probably polystone. The chessboard has a leather look but is also made of solid polystone, it also rests on small legs which makes it look even bigger. The chess pieces were carefully crafted with great detail by the Italian artist P. Chiari. See the many included photos. All chess pieces are also equipped with the original pieces of felt to avoid scratching the chessboard. The chessboard as well as the chess pieces are in good condition.
