Seiko was the first producer to develop the 5-dot race countdown system in a quartz version. This watch has that quartz timepiece. The 6m37-6010. The watch has a diameter of 42 mm without the crown and is approx. 12 mm thick. The gold-coloured, unidirectional diving bezel turns, but with great difficulty. The silver white dial with the five coloured race "dots" still is in very fine condition. The glass is of Sapphlex crystal and therefore rock-hard. The Seiko is waterproof up to 200 m (this is an indication and not a guarantee with vintage watches). The Seiko has a 18 mm, brown, leather strap with buckle in used, but wearable condition. This strap is suitable for a wrist of up to 22 cm. The watch is multifunctional, including a chronograph function, race countdown timers (5 - 10 and 15 minutes) and an adjustable, countdown timer. The subdials with the distribution are operated with the crown. A comprehensive manual is easily found on the Internet.
