Beautiful '606 Barrel' by the famous Frank Lloyd Wright. This very exclusive chair with serial number '18182' was made by the Italian high-quality brand Cassina in 1986. The original design of this chair is from 1937. That was the year Wright designed the '606 Barrel' especially for the famous (and also designed by him) 'Wingspread House' for Herbert F. Johnson (see photos). This very exclusive '606 Barrel' is a beautiful eye-catcher, no matter it's location. Cassina products are always made of high-quality materials and the finish is excellent. As is this chair. The frame is made of beautiful cherry wood and the comfortable seat is red leather. The chair is still in very good condition: only minor signs of wear, normal for its age (see photos). The measurements are: 54.5 cm wide and 55.5 cm deep. The back height is 81 cm, the seat height is at 50 cm, and the arm rests are at 63 cm. There also is a beautiful Wright desk being offered in the auction.
