The Kopke port house is the oldest port house and was founded in 1683 by Cristiano Köpke and exports wine and port across the whole world. The Kopke port cellars are in the Entreposto de Gaia where the most cellars have been established since centuries. Here the port lies in the most ideal conditions in traditional wooden barrels, slowly ripening during years, in silence.
