OMEGA Seamaster Automatic Chronograph ref. 176.007 from 1972.
This is a legendary Omega model. Despite the fact that it has endured a lot during its lifetime, this beautiful, rose gold-plated movement ticks very well.
The cal. 1040 (Lemania 1340) is the first automatic chronograph movement with the highest number of ticks of 28,800 bph in the world, and the first automatic chronograph watch in the OMEGA collections. The high number of ticks assures higher accuracy in measuring time.
This variation of this model has a gold-plated (used) case with a stunning, characteristic, brown, radially brushed dial. The many functions consist of a chronograph with a centrally positioned minute counter and 12-hour counter. There is also a 24-hour display near the 9 o'clock marker.
The plexiglass is original and equipped with an OMEGA logo.
