Title page of a series of boards depicting the ten commandments (Hollstein 72-82) according to Maarten de VOS 
These ten boards were published by Philippe GALLE around 1587-1588 and engraved by several artists, (Adriaen Collaert, Joann Collaert, Théodor Galle and Crijpin de Passe).
They were printed by Adriaen Collaert.
Are represented in the center table Moses with the ten commandments, from left to right, the Temple, God appears to Moses, the good Samaritan and Jesus expelling the money changers from the Temple.  
Lower part: text of dedication to Laevius Torrentio (Lieven van der Brecke), Bishop of Antwerp from 1586 to 1595.

In the lower part out of Board: handwritten mention in brown ink.
Dimensions of the plate mark:  215 x 245 mm.

Good condition, slight crease in the upper left corner. remains of mounting, back of the upper part.
