Zenith Sporto Stellina – Men's watch – 1959 - Cal. 40 Mechanical manual wind Swiss watch in very good working condition. On movement is engraved: ZENITH SWISS MADE 17 JEWELS 4821032 On back side of the case is engraved: 9349702 Inner side of the back is engraved: GOLDFILLED L BEZEL 40 MICRONS Case 33.8 mm without crown Featured a plastic cap over the movement, which was designed to help keep dust, moisture and humidity at bay. An interesting detail is that the inside of the case back was usually also signed 'Zenith Sporto' (at least in the 1950's).. The watch is old with good service history. Watch has been serviced and plexi glass has been replaced April 2017. Case has some very small traces of wear but it is in very nice condition - please look at the photos for detailed condition. Naturally, it will be very well packaged and shipped by registered post.
