DESCRIPTION:
Exceptionally original, this Maserati Quattroporte III 4900 has driven only 64,409 km. Always with the same family, never restored, it can be defined a preserved car at the highest levels. The livery colour “panna 2.422.281” has only been veiled in some points to preserve the original custom paint, while the brown leather interior is that of the original equipment. Overhauled mechanics; number plates of the first registration, service booklet and use and maintenance booklet, that complete the equipment of the car. Probably the most original Maserati Quattroporte in circulation.
HISTORY:
Maserati AM 330/49
Long awaited, the Maserati Quattroporte III was produced from 1979 in ca. 2000 units. The line designed by Giugiaro is both magnificent and dynamic (the car has an exceptional top speed of 230 km/h!) while only one word can define the interior: opulence. Available in two engines, both with 8 cylinders: 4.2 and 4.9 litres. The Quattroporte was the most luxurious, elegant and powerful sedan of the 1980s and it was also the official car of Pertini (his visit with a Maserati Quattroporte to the rival Ferrari factory was memorable).
This car can be viewed and picked up in Magione, Italy.
