Trio of Monnet cognacs : Réserve limitée 1991 + Anniversaire + Joséphine Fine Champagne très vieille

J. G. Monnet is a brand established in 1838. It was managed in the mid 20th century by Jean Monnet, one of the "fathers" of modern Europe. Those bottles are 1980's & 1970s editions for the Anniversaire & Joséphine bottles, 1991 for the Réserve limitée (label marked 15-01-1991), in superb condition, as new, and will enable buyer to have some of the brand's historical products. The Anniversaire Très Ancienne Sélection is probably an "XO" or even "hors d'âge" grade. It seems this quality was issued for the 100th anniversary of the brand in 1938, and the name has been kept as a "quality standard" for this brand. The Joséphine fine champagne - très vieille is the highest grade of the Monnet cognacs, and have also been bottled in Baccarat crystal decanters. This one comes in the brands very typical round bottles. Probably sold for drinking market. A good opportunity maybe to taste this extra good cognac. The medals with the salamander are different, on the 2 first bottles it spits to the right, on the last to the left. This indicates the Jopéphine was bottled in the 1970s, the Anniversaire in the 1980s. Two of the bottles are same size, 20cm high, 1,35kg 70cl and 40% when indicated. The Réserve limitée is 30cm high for 1,32kg All 3 bottles are in good condition, 2 with original boxes included Contents: 70cl / 70cl / 70cl ABV: 40%
