Earthenware vase with a floral decor, designed by Raymond Chevalier for Boch Freres-La Louviere. 16 cm h x 16 cm w x 10 cm d. It is in good condition; the gilding is somewhat worn on the handles. The vase is numbered and stamped. In 1937, Raymond Chevallier became director of Keramis, succeeding Charles Catteau. Prior to that, he worked in the Faiencerie of Longwy and was already present at the famous Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1925. He was director of Céramique de Bruxelles (later Cerabelga), after Longwy. He worked for Boch until 1954. Subsequently, he moved on to the Faiencerie Orchies in Northern France. This lot will be packed very well and sent by registered mail.
